Ian Macdonell has over 15 years experience in a broad range of investment banking activities in both Canada and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Crosbie, he was Executive Director, Corporate Finance at CIBC Wood Gundy Securities and Vice President, Corporate Finance at RBC Dominion Securities. He has played a primary role in numerous merger & acquisition advisory assignments and public and private debt and equity financings across a variety of different industries. He graduated from Queen’s University with a BSc in chemical engineering and completed his MBA at the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
