Romit Malhotra began his career in mid-market commercial lending and leveraged finance, catering to diversified industries. Prior to joining Crosbie, he was a Manager with the Leveraged Finance Group at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce where he worked on evaluating, structuring, and syndicating numerous senior and mezzanine debt financings to fund leveraged buy-outs led by private equity firms and corporations. Prior to Leveraged Finance, Romit was an Associate with the mid-market commercial lending business at CIBC. Romit completed his MBA from the Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto and his Bachelor of Engineering (gold medalist) from Bangalore University, India.
